SAITAMA: The Saitama Prefectural Board of Education has decided to allow those who pass public high school exams to reject the offer and go private high schools from fiscal 2010, it has emerged.
The board of education had been criticized for making those who pass public high school exams sign a pledge not to decline the offer to enter a public school.

Here are the upcoming events for November - December 2008 in Tokyo. We’ll be at Polygon this Saturday with another popular sushi party and the following week at Quest in Roppongi with a pizza party. Then later in the month it will be turkey time with a couple of traditional American Thanksgiving dinners. Also, don’t miss the Ali-Mo live band show at the nijikai after this weekend’s sushi party.
