Japan’s first lady, Akie Abe was seen riding a Metro rail in New Delhi.

The Delhi metro rail network was half-funded by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, which costs about 106 billion rupees.

Akie Abe is accompanying her husband Shinzo Abe on a visit designed to improve strategic relations between Tokyo and New Delhi, hoped for greater ties between the two countries.
