Takeru Kobayashi of Japan loses to Joey Chestnut at the 93rd annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Friday. Chestnut, the defending champion, and Kobayashi, a six-time former champ, both consumed 59 hot dogs during the 10-minute regulation time period, forcing a five-dog eat off.

Chestnut then squeaked by the Japanese legend in the overtime period, retaining the famous Mustard Belt. Check out the video clip below:


Last year, Chestnut stunned Kobayashi by consuming a world-record 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes.
