Venus Williams, Six-time Grand Slam champion, is expected to be the top seed in the upcoming week’s AIG Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo.

Sania Mirza(India) is scheduled to be the second seed, and will be returning to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour for the first time since the US Open after recovering from a wrist injury.
